In Switzerland you will get the opportunity to do your clerkship in one of the five local committees, which can offer clerkships in a lot of different specialities. In the German part of Switzerland we have three local committees: Basel, Bern and Zurich. Geneva and Lausanne are located in the French part. Which city are you interested in and what kind of speciality are you looking for?

Usually it is easier to find a placement in a broad clinical department such as internal medicine, general surgery, gynaecology/obstetrics and neurology. You also get the possibility to do more on your own and help in different settings.
